Before opening the TLG Peterbilt locations you've come to rely on, the Larsons owned a small truck line for 25 years while dealing in livestock. That's how they know Peterbilt trucks are made for those who work for a living. When they began selling class 8 trucks, they knew there was a need for a more personalized truck purchase and service experience.

New Locations
In 1987, the Larsons purchased Peterbilt of Springfield (a solid dealership even before TLG) and set to work taking commercial truck service to ever-higher levels. Soon after, they launched a satellite location: Peterbilt of Joplin began as a parts-dedicated store that grew into a full service dealership with an award-winning body shop.

True to Our Roots
The momentum continued and TLG seemed to grow overnight. In keeping with our farming and truck operating roots, the Larson Group has an understanding of both driver and business needs. Makes sense, given that we've earned that insight based on real experience that is rare among dealer groups.
