I refuse to call this a “garbage truck”.  It is far too good for that!  Don’t wait for an improving economy to drive prices up.  Expand your existing business or start a new venture.  Bigger isn’t always better. Some routes require special consideration – and a smaller truck – to get in and out efficiently. Parks, recreation areas, gated communities, subdivisions, office parks, short routes, campgrounds, trailer parks, airports, beaches, and tight alleys can all be a challenge for a full-size refuse vehicle.  This truck is a surprising performer when it comes to compaction, so you’ll make plenty of stops before it’s time to unload. When you do unload, you can transfer the load into a full size rear loader and keep it on the route where it belongs...making a nice profit. As an added bonus, the smaller chassis doesn’t require the operator to have a CDL.

 The truck has been washed and buffed out, and the interior has been cleaned enough to give an idea of how nice this truck is.  I thought about painting the wheels and the can lifter, but I wanted the buyer to see exactly what they are getting.  It appears that all of the safety labels are present, and the controls work on both sides of the compactor.

 I drove this truck over 150 miles in freeway, city, suburban and stop-and-go traffic.  It handled great (the short wheelbase makes it nearly car-like) and it gave me no problems at all.  It fits in a regular parking space.

 No rust on the cab or frame – surface rust on the compactor.  Straight body.  No cracked glass.  Exterior lights work.  Tires are excellent.

 Automatic transmission with overdrive shifts smoothly and appropriately

 Two-way roof vent

 Air conditioning (blows cold but needs some blend door work)

 AM/FM cassette stereo (not currently working)

 Very low 54,000 miles

 14,500 GVWR

Government-owned and maintained.  Used in Phoenix, Arizona area its entire working life.
